Trading Concept

Blox Fruits Demand

Demand measures how badly players want an item right now, rated 1/10 to 10/10. It is the second number that decides whether a trade actually happens — after value.

What Is Demand?

Demand is a community rating of liquidity: how fast an item trades and how likely it is to earn an overpay. A fruit at 9/10 finds a buyer within minutes. A fruit at 2/10 can sit in your inventory for weeks even when the calculator calls the trade "Fair".

Value vs Demand

Value answers "how much is it worth?" Demand answers "how fast can I move it?" The two often disagree — and that disagreement is where trading skill lives:

  • High value + high demand — the dream. Moves fast, often above value.
  • High value + low demand — looks rich, trades slow. You may wait days for a buyer.
  • Mid value + high demand — the trader's favorite. Easy to flip upward.
  • Low value + low demand — trade filler. Fine as adds, bad as anchors.

The Demand Scale

  • 9–10/10 — Very High: instant liquidity, frequent overpays.
  • 7–8/10 — High: trades within hours, holds value well.
  • 5–6/10 — Medium: trades in a day or two at fair value.
  • 3–4/10 — Low: slow movers; expect to wait or discount.
  • 1–2/10 — Very Low: filler items; hard to move alone.

How Demand Affects Negotiations

Demand is leverage. Offering a 9/10 fruit lets you ask for slight overpay; asking for one means expecting to pay it. When the calculator shows a small "Lose" on value but a big demand upgrade, that trade is often still correct — you are buying liquidity. Conversely, never accept a "Win" that dumps all your demand into one slow-moving item unless you plan to hold it.
